Last weekend was SIMA’s second official Northwest Gold Cup Race. With over 100 entries, the grids were packed with racers eagerly anticipating another great weekend of Westcoast racing. Results from the race can be found below.

A scrumptious cake from Lynden Dutch Bakery and cold Corona’s were served on Saturday evening to celebrate SIMA’s first birthday. As everyone gathered, Claudio Valiante took the opportunity to express his gratitude to all the participants for attending the race and supporting SIMA.

Sunday afternoon’s Mechanic Race and Ladies race was action packed and drew the highest number of spectators. Congratulations to Paul Rundle who clinched the Mechanics Race and a $100 Gift Certificate to SNAP ON Tools. Monika Morgan won the highly competitive Ladies Race and a $100 Gift Certificate to the spa.

It was a pleasure for SIMA to host a Northwest Gold Cup Race and appreciate all the volunteers who came out to make the event a success. And of course SIMA would like to thank the participants, who support the sport of karting, the Gold Cup Series and SIMA. Thank you!
