April 25, 2011 - As the SIMA Summer Series kicks off, two new karting companies have jumped on board as series sponsors. MG Tires and Ribtect have offered their products which SIMA will award directly to the drivers.

Each race, a set of MG Tires will be raffled off to one of the participants in the Shifter and Tag Senior class. Additionally, Shifter and Tag Senior drivers who race on MG Tires will be awarded a gift voucher for MG Tires in the following order: $50 for 1st, $30 for 2nd and $20 for 3rd.  MG Tires is one of the main karting tire manufacturers in the world. For nearly 20 years, the company has researched and developed karting tires for competition and leisure. MG Tires has now established itself as a leading brand of tires in the winners circle.

Ribtect has sponsored this series with four of their new Ribtect 3 vests which will also be raffled off throughout the series. Ribtect has been around the karting industry since the 1990’s offering karters unbeatable rib protection. The new Ribtect 3 is made of injection molded “polycarbonate” material panels to help spread the load and shock even more. Additional features such as a thinner design, adjustable chest and shoulder straps and better shock absorbing foam makes this a must have chest protector.
